Something About...

Charlie Ormon joined ESC in 1994. Right now, he is in the "top ten" of members who have been with us the longest. His company, ETCai Products, produces educational software for electrical and electronics training. Subjects include basic circuits, troubleshooting power supplies, voltmeters, trigonometry, and more. The website is www.etcai.com

Hilla Ovil-Brenner joined ESC in 2008 as a Supporting Member. (See the banners at http://www.edu-soft.org/content/index.php/banner-members.) Her company, WhiteSmoke, produces all-in-one English writing and grammar software. The software uses natural language processing technology to help edit and improve writing. Billie Pagliolo joined ESC in in 2003. Her company, Windmill Works, produces and sells an eclectic collection of products, including educational software games, audiobooks, software for deaf education and sign language learning, dog outfits, and much more. The website is www.windmillworks.com

William Parke joined ESC in 2003. A graduate of Yale University, he teaches economics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. His product, EconModel, includes important economic models and exercises. The website is www.econmodel.com

Sue Pichotta joined ESC in 2006, and was Member of the Month in August that year. Sue was the founder of AISIP (Association of Independent Software Professionals) and is a regular contributor to a number of newsgroups, well-known for her insightful commentaries. She is currently serving on the ESC Board of Directors. Her company, icons-icons.com, develops professional icon sets for websites and software. The website is icons-icons.com
